Peter Trutmann, follows a family tradition of artists including great grandfather sculptor who pioneered the use of concrete sculpture in Switzerland , photographer uncle , and brother .

He uses principally pastel, ink and photographic media. Art topics include rich, deep mountain and lake landscapes, mondianesque exploration of colors, flowing ink drawings of movement, exploration of psychological images represented as works of reflections. Photography topics include food, humanity, the earth and nature and spirituality.
